# Terms of Use Revision: 2026-10-04.1. Updated: October 4, 2026. Effective date: October 4, 2026. These Terms cover the website, Waitlist, and free invited mobile Beta. Reading them does not record acceptance; the applicable confirmation flow requires explicit agreement. ## Operator and agreement Balushi Digital LLC, a Delaware company in the United States, operates Lizards. Our monitored contact is info@trylizards.com. Our mailing address is 8 The Green, STE B, Dover, DE 19901, United States; this is a mailing address, not a representation of an operating office. These Terms cover the Lizards website, Waitlist, and free invitation-only mobile Beta. Once an effective version and acceptance flow are available, you must expressly agree to the applicable Terms and eligibility statement at the required entry point. Merely reading a page, having an existing device profile, or allowing optional tracking does not supply that recorded agreement. The Privacy Policy describes personal-information practices; it does not make optional tracking mandatory. Contribution Terms apply only to people supplying identified Source material and accepting that authorization, as set out below. ## Eligibility and invitations You must be at least 18 years old. The Waitlist is open to adults throughout the United States. You must provide accurate information you are entitled to supply and correct important errors. The Beta uses a self-reported name and email; it does not provide a verified cloud account or identity authentication. The Beta is invitation-only, free, and limited in availability. An optional Beta request expresses interest; it is not an invitation or enrollment. Joining the Waitlist or accepting Terms does not guarantee Beta access, available Courses, an invitation date, or a release date. We may select invitation batches and adjust capacity. Access-related emails may follow; you can ask info@trylizards.com to stop Waitlist or invitation communications. Necessary request replies and legal or service notices are separate. ## Independent supplementary study Lizards helps you study university Courses using short Lesson Videos, Practice, and a progress Map. It is an independent supplementary study aid. We do not claim university or professor sponsorship, endorsement, accreditation, academic credit, guaranteed grades, or exam success. Follow your official Course materials and instructor requirements, and check important answers against reliable sources. Lizards is not a substitute for instruction, professional advice, or your own academic judgment. ## Permission and responsible use To the extent of rights we control, we grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to access the free service and its Course content for lawful study during authorized access. This does not transfer ownership or grant rights in all underlying facts, third-party sources, AI outputs, or voices. Third-party rights remain with their holders, and applicable legal exceptions remain available. Do not interfere with service security, misuse another person's identity, automate abusive requests, distribute malicious material, or use access to infringe rights or break the law. Do not copy, redistribute, sell, or exploit protected Course content beyond permission we can grant or rights you have under law. Do not misrepresent Lizards as an official institutional service. Follow applicable academic-integrity rules; do not use Practice or Lesson Videos to cheat, submit unauthorized assessment answers, or breach exam or Course restrictions. You can send feedback and error reports to info@trylizards.com. You permit us to use feedback to improve the service without an obligation to pay you; you retain rights you hold in it. Do not include confidential information or material you cannot authorize us to use. Feedback is not a blanket license to unrelated Source material; identified editorial contributions use the separate Contribution Terms. ## AI-assisted content and availability Editorial AI tools help prepare Course content from Source material; generated narration may use voice-generation tools. This is not a Learner-facing AI chat feature. AI-assisted content and human-prepared content can contain errors, omissions, or misleading explanations. We do not represent that every existing Lesson Video or Practice answer has completed a human accuracy review. Please report the Course, Level, question or video, and issue to info@trylizards.com so we can investigate. The free Beta is prerelease software. Courses, features, compatibility, and access may change, be interrupted, or end. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, permanent storage of local progress, or offline Course startup or playback. Keep information you need separately. To the extent permitted by law, the free service is supplied as available, without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Third-party services may be needed for hosting, delivery, communications, optional tracking, or editorial preparation. Their relevant terms and practices may also apply to your direct dealings with them. We remain responsible for obligations the law places on us; referencing a provider does not transfer all responsibility to you or guarantee its practices. ## Contribution Terms These Contribution Terms are a self-contained authorization between the actual Contributor and Balushi Digital LLC, operator of Lizards, for the Source material identified in that Contributor's explicit confirmation. Contact: info@trylizards.com. Mailing address: 8 The Green, STE B, Dover, DE 19901, United States. These terms share revision 2026-10-04.1, updated October 4, 2026, and are effective October 4, 2026. No authorization is obtained by reading these terms alone. The separate confirmation flow must record actual agreement to a usable version before new contributions are used. ### Covered material and ownership A Contributor supplies or authorizes Source material to help Lizards prepare Course content. Being a Learner, joining the Waitlist, or studying lessons does not make you a Contributor. Your confirmation must identify the specific materials by reference or description; files continue arriving through existing channels. It does not authorize unidentified future submissions or unrelated documents. You retain ownership of rights you hold in your Source material. You promise that you are at least 18, can grant this authorization, and own or have obtained the permissions necessary for the uses below, including relevant copyright, confidentiality, privacy, and other rights. Tell us about restrictions before authorizing a contribution. Possessing a file, classroom access, an educational purpose, or AI rewriting does not establish rights to adapt and publish protected expression or arrangements. Do not supply confidential information, unnecessary personal information, restricted assessments or exam answers, unlawfully obtained material, or third-party work you lack permission to authorize. Remove such information or obtain the necessary permissions first. Permission to use general facts does not automatically permit copying a source's expression, selection, or arrangement. This agreement cannot grant rights belonging to an absent third party. ### License and limits For the identified Source material and rights you can grant, you give Balushi Digital LLC a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, store, analyze, process with editorial AI and voice tools, adapt, translate, combine, and prepare Course content, and to publish, display, perform, distribute, and make the resulting lessons available through Lizards and its distribution channels. The grant covers the free Beta and future paid services, if offered; it does not state that paid services exist now. No contribution payment is promised. You authorize the service-provider and distribution permissions reasonably needed to exercise that license, including supplying relevant material to editorial AI providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic and supplying narration or voice selections to Fish Audio. Processing depends on those providers' actual accounts, terms, and settings; no universal zero-retention or no-provider-training guarantee is made. This grant does not authorize use of a person's voice without the separate rights or permissions needed for that voice. If you stop contributing, we may continue using and distributing lessons already created from the authorized material and retain and process supporting Source material as reasonably needed for those lessons, permissions, and justified legal records. Continued use remains subject to valid rights complaints and mandatory law. You may ask us about stopping future use of a specific source; stopping contributions does not automatically retract already-created lessons or authorize new, unidentified submissions. The license does not permit separate resale of your raw documents or advertising use of your name, likeness, or other identity. Any such use requires separate authorization. We do not claim ownership of all third-party sources, facts, AI outputs, or voices by virtue of this agreement. ### Responsibility for breached promises To the extent lawful, you agree to indemnify Balushi Digital LLC for reasonable losses, damages, and defense costs arising from third-party claims caused by your breach of the rights, permission, confidentiality, or submission promises in these Contribution Terms. This applies only to the extent the claim is caused by that breach; it is not a transfer of all company liability. It does not cover our own fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, recklessness, unauthorized uses outside your grant, or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be shifted. Ordinary Learners do not give source-rights warranties or this indemnity merely by studying company-published lessons. We will give reasonably prompt notice of a covered claim, with any delay reducing your responsibility only to the extent it materially prejudices your defense. You may participate in the defense and, where appropriate, undertake it with competent counsel reasonably acceptable to us. We will reasonably cooperate and take reasonable steps to limit covered losses. We may participate with our own counsel at our own expense except where a conflict reasonably requires separate defense for a covered claim. No settlement may bind a party, admit its fault, impose nonmonetary obligations on it, or fail to release it without its written consent; consent to an appropriate settlement will not be unreasonably withheld. Mandatory-law limits apply throughout. ### Confirmation, disputes, and contact New contributions require actual agreement before use. For identified materials supplied earlier, a new confirmation uses the real acceptance date; it is not proof of past assent or retroactive clearance of third-party rights. A receipt records supplied identity, the material reference, exact agreed wording, and server receipt time. It does not verify identity or guarantee the truth of rights claims. Delaware law governs these Contribution Terms while preserving mandatory consumer protections and rights that apply where you live. Disputes may be brought in ordinary courts with jurisdiction, including eligible small claims. These Contribution Terms impose no mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, contractual jury waiver, or exclusive out-of-state forum. Contacting info@trylizards.com is encouraged but is not a precondition to urgent relief, regulator complaints, court access, or meeting filing deadlines. This indemnity is limited to its qualified scope above; no other provision expands the Contributor's indemnity obligations. ## Content complaints and access changes Send copyright or other content complaints to info@trylizards.com, identifying the work or right at issue, the specific Course, Level, question, video or URL, the basis of your concern, and how to contact you. Include supporting information you can lawfully share; avoid unnecessary sensitive data. We may seek clarification and investigate, correct, restrict, or remove material as appropriate. A complaint contact is not a claim that we have a registered DMCA agent or qualify for a statutory safe harbor. Merely retiring a Level may not remove stored media or cached copies; appropriate removal requires action on relevant delivery paths. We may proportionately restrict or end access for material breaches, unlawful or harmful use, security needs, or ending the Beta. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to address it; urgent safety, security, or legal needs may require immediate action. Contact info@trylizards.com with questions or to ask us to reconsider. Termination does not erase justified agreement records or rights and duties that by their nature continue, including the qualified license for already-created lessons and valid accrued claims. ## Free-service liability limits To the extent permitted by law, Balushi Digital LLC's total aggregate liability to each person for all claims arising from the free services is limited to $100. To the same extent, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of data, arising from the free services. Both the $100 cap and the excluded-damages provision have the same exceptions: neither applies to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, recklessness, or any liability, remedy, consumer protection, or other right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. The provisions apply only as far as applicable law allows and do not restrict mandatory remedies. This is a selected contractual risk allocation, not a statutory safe harbor or an enforceability guarantee. It does not bind nonparty copyright holders, regulators, or vendors, or excuse the company from their claims or its own legal duties. ## Governing law and disputes Delaware law governs these Terms, except that mandatory consumer protections and other nonwaivable rights that apply where you live remain available. Disputes may be brought in ordinary courts with jurisdiction, including eligible small-claims courts. There is no mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, contractual jury waiver, or exclusive out-of-state forum in these Terms. We encourage you to contact info@trylizards.com to try to resolve a concern. Contact is not a prerequisite to urgent relief, contacting regulators, bringing a case, or preserving a filing deadline. Nothing here extends or shortens applicable statutory deadlines. ## Changes, notices, and remaining terms We will label deliberate revisions with updated and effective dates and preserve exact earlier text. Material Terms changes will receive appropriate notice and agreement where needed; a date change or a restored profile does not rewrite an earlier receipt. You can read the applicable archived revision and the current website version. We may use appropriate in-service or supplied-email notices; keep your supplied contact details accurate. No change to Terms automatically changes optional tracking permission. If a provision cannot lawfully apply, the remainder applies to the extent it can operate lawfully, without removing mandatory protections. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of later enforcement. These Terms and the source-specific Contribution Terms govern their stated subject matter; any separately agreed permissions remain subject to their scope.
